• The canvas is coated with paraffin. When folded or creased, the paraffin may break, causing white marks or "chalk marks" to appear—this is a natural characteristic of the fabric.
• To maintain the paraffin finish, avoid washing. If overall cleaning is needed, hand wash gently. While the original coating will fade, the softened, worn-in look of the canvas can also be enjoyed.
